Edith Bowman was hosting a Meet The Filmmakers event for Ryan's directorial debut 'Lost River' at the Apple store in London yesterday, a role she seemed to take very seriously.
Ryan seemed pleased to be reunited with the film's leading man, former Doctor Who star Matt Smith, despite having to leave partner Eva Mendes, who also stars in the project, back in the US with their daughter Esmerelda. But what amazed us was that during the whole event, Edith did not show the tiniest smile, prooving she is immune to his charms! (Rex Features)

Police stops two giant teddy bears gifts for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reaching Buckingham Palace. The teddy bears, which have been created by William Hill, visit Buckingham Palace/Houses of Parliament during a tour of London today, to celebrate the imminent arrival of the second royal baby.
