A photographer braved the heights to capture parkous enthusiasts dangling from some of the tallest rooftops in the world. Giulio Calisse said that, despite enjoying the thrill of looking over the edge, he preferred to stay back and photograph the professional parkour performers doing what they do best. Parkour, or Freerunning as it is often known, requires performers to be able to move freely and quickly over and through any terrain. It is usually practised in urban areas, and can include obstacle courses, acrobatics, leaping from and over walls, and precision jumping. Giulio, 29, took this set of spectacular photographs from various rooftops - measuring from 124m (407ft) to 205m (672.5ft) high - in downtown Toronto, Canada. He said: "I like to shoot at night because there is something inherently more spectacular about the way the city looks at night, with hundreds of these tiny dots of light sprinkled across the landscape". Paul Goldstein is no fair-weather photographer. The Exodus travel guide and presenter's amazing gallery shows the drama he has captured on Kenya's Masai Mara where storm clouds often blanket the wildlife-filled landscape. Highlights include white rhinoceros backdropped by a rainbow and inclement skies and an impressive image of giraffe as the sun breaks through dark clouds. Wimbledon-based Paul explains: "The best conditions for photography on the plains is either very good weather - kind early and late light and settled conditions - or very bad weather. For me the latter is both more challenging but also much more rewarding as cloud patterns are never ever the same so each shot is unique. (Paul Goldstein/Exodus/REX)
